Congratulations Christian Beck and the LawConnect sailing team on their Line Honours victory in the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race 2023.

Size does matter!! Especially when in battle on the Derwent. LawConnect made use of the world’s longest bowsprit, design and engineered by Ellis Engineered to overtake Andoo Comanche in the closing meters of the race and claim victory by 51 seconds.

Ellis Engineered have collaborated with the LawConnect team since 2021, including the design and engineering of the 6.2 meter long bowsprit and interior modifications to improve the ergonomics for the team when racing offshore.
